Rob launched his career in the mortgage industry 12 years ago after a long and successful run in retail management for a Fortune 100 company. He attributes his work ethic, experience, reputation, an outstanding support staff, an unparalleled selection of loan products and the rapid turn-times available at Wallick & Volk to his success. Rob’s philosophy is simple but extremely effective: he treats his clients as he would like to be treated. His personal style is warm and caring, perhaps out of the ordinary but welcome traits in a mortgage banker. Honesty and forthrightness underscore Rob’s communication with his clients as key elements in building trust and respect. He believes that being a good listener is crucial to understanding and fulfilling his client’s needs.
This, coupled with his expert knowledge of the current market and the overall process helps Rob define expectations at the onset of the transaction for all parties involved. This organized and open approach is very helpful in creating a worry free transaction for his clients and their Realtors. Rob is a true believer in improving his community through personal contribution as evidenced by his involvement with the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Vista Del Camino, and through his membership in the Arizona Mortgage Lending Association, Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors, and the Amphitheater High School Football Alumnus Association. Rob was also a walk-on quarterback for the University of Arizona Wildcats in 1986 and a key part of their Aloha Bowl Championship team.
Rob, his wife of 18 years and their five children reside in Scottsdale, AZ.
